Hundreds in Bethleham Mark 60 Years.
The Key is 10 meters long and weighs 2 tons.
It's been 60 years since nearly 1 million people were driven from their homes, hundreds others killed, tortured, maimed...and over 500 villages erased, as if we'd never been there.
A precious student, now a friend, living in occupied Palestine wrote recently, "I still don't believe that 60 year past on AL NAKBAH (the catastrophe) and nobody does anything about it." She's never been able to wrap her head around it. She added, "I'm happy to hear that there is somebody who lives in the US and is still concerned about Palestine."
and the UN sanctioned refugee right of return is ignored-60 years later. I can't believe it either.
